We are the children of supernatural. The eternal spirit of God abides within us.
We are heavenly bound not earthly bound. We are here for a limited time as
ambassadors of almighty. So we should not act as slaves but as the child of God
and keep our dignity and standards. In the name of race, color, status, body
structure, language, intelligence, income, and health we should not feel
inferior. Inferiority Complex nimbles and immobilizes all our talents. Self
perceptions of our status should not be based on comparing ourselves with
others. Every individual is unique and has a unique work to do.
Look at Christ. He is your leader and the fulfillment of your faith. In His
family you have the privileges and the responsibilities of a child. The spirit
of God reminds us of who we are and encourages us to do wonderful work here on
earth and leave from here with a living legacy of God's children.
The 16th president of USA, Abraham Lincoln, is considered to be one of the
greatest presidents of America. He was born on 12 Feb 1809 in a one-room cabin
in rural Kentucky. He was the first in his family who could read. He made his
humble beginnings in Illinois, first as a laborer, working for penny in a day.
His faith in God, invasive curiosity, hard work and his readiness to do anything
at the cost of his life led him to become a lawyer and, eventually, the
president of the USA. That status powered him to emancipate and remove the
greatest tragedy of the world - abolition of slavery at the cost of his life.
With out him, America as it's today, would not exist. He once said, "It is the
duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling
power of God and to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrows." He
didn't allow his poor and primitive background to depress him to continue his
pursuit of his life and the fulfillment of it.
Life is an adventure. Risk is a factor in it. If we listen to all the voices of
the world, then we cannot survive. We are no longer fearful slaves. Instead, we
are the Master's children. He encourages us to ask him for whatever we need. So
simply ignore all depressing noises.
Jesus, we call you as "Abba", our father. Let
your children be inspired by their status of son-ship and act as the light to
others. Let those who feel inferior and depressed come out of their cell of
pathetic situation. Lord, make everyone to do great things for you. We ask this
in the name Jesus.
