Foreword

This will be the last issue of the weekly Malankara World Journal. As announced at the release of Issue 500, the mammoth super special souvenir edition of Malankara World, and after consultation with His Eminence Yeldho Mor Titus, the Patron of Malankara World, we will switch to a monthly format. The monthly issue will cover the lectionary of all the Sundays and sermon guidelines within the month. Articles will be more of a general nature. One of the immediate benefit will be for those who live in Middle East where the Sabbath is observed on Fridays, instead of Sundays and those in the far east like Australia, Singapore etc. who are a day ahead of the US time zone.

On Sunday, November 4, 2018, we start a new church calendar year. So, we felt this is a good time to migrate to the new format.

We will watch the feedbacks on the new format and may make adjustments, if necessary. A biweekly journal is another possibility.

At Malankara World Headquarters in Ohio, USA, the autumn is in full swing. The trees are changing their color. Next week or so, we will witness the marvelous artistry of God. It reminds us that God is still in control.
