What Shall I Do To Be Saved?

By Rev. Dr. Curian Kaniyamparambil

Question 4. Why should one believe in Jesus Christ?

Nor there is salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12). There is much more than a single line answer for the above question. But let us be concise for the time being.

Question: 5. What is the uniqueness of Jesus Christ?

a) He is the Son of God.

b) His resurrection is the strength of Christianity (1 Cori 15:17). And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile: your are still in your sins."

c) He came to save the sinners. He is the only one who declared? I did not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance? (Mark 2:17). (This is important because there are other people believed to be incarnate of God, who came to punish the sinners in other religions)

d) He is the only one who was sacrificed for the sins of the world, and for that he gave his life as a ransom for the salvation of many. (Mat 20:28)

e) Everyone before and after Him were born coincidently, that is not pre-planned. Every event related to Christ was prophesied by the prophets David, Isaiah, Micah, Hosea, Zechariah, Amos, Malachi, Jeremiah etc.
