"See I’m doing a new thing! Now it springs up: do you not perceive it? I’m making a way into desert and stream into waste land.” (Isaiah 43:19)
"Mull for a new concept in Jesus that will gush
out to irrigate the arid land of barrenness in our life and spring new life to
others.
New concepts sell fast, work smooth, and fetch more money than any old ideas.
The fallen earth and human beings are always in the process of regeneration to
become a new earth and a new man. For this godly work, Jesus has chosen us, the
co-creators for making everything anew. ”If anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 3:17). So forget
the past and always mull for new concepts to solve the present problems.” Forget
the former things, do not dwell on the past” (Isaiah 33:18). All the inventions
and discoveries and the standard of living being enjoyed are the result of God’s
mighty revelation! They are the movers and stakeholders of the new brave world.
“Behold, I’ll create new heavens and a new earth” (Isaiah 65:17).
The Israelis turn their homes into restaurants to help the poor. A food blog
invites people to organize convivial (Feast), paying for dinners with friends,
with the proceeds going to charity which feeds thousands every day. It’s the new
concept and thoughts of David Califa of the Israelis food blog, Beyale. He
creates the project to help an organization , named La Sova, a charity which
feeds thousands of poor families every day. There is no such project anywhere in
the world which can mobilize people to donate and at the same time have fun in
their homes. This could be in our homes, picnic places and choose whatever kind
of meal they want whether it’s a fancy dinner, cheese and pastries buffet or
cheese gathering with desserts. Even 7 year old children are organizing, buying,
cooking and serving in their parents' houses. For the price of $1, they will be
able to feed numerous families and bring happiness to others.
Think, pray, meditate, exchange, talk, brainstorm, and interact with your
friends about the problems and the solutions. “And the earth was without form
and void and darkness was up on the face of the deep. And the spirit of God
moved up on the face of the water” (Genesis 1:2).
Jesus, let us enjoy the fresh breeze of your spirit. We are in need of new methods and new ideas to handle and to overcome the new challenges of the modern world - bringing up the children, coping with a world of electronics and computer wonders, keeping up the withering family life, feeding the poor and saving the earth. We pray for more David Cilifas to sprout. All we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
