Dr. Babu Paul on Kolencherry Issue
In this scholarly article, Dr. Babu Paul explains the
context for the disagreements between the factions and
why a lasting solution is not possible from court cases
based on history. A Catholic model may be something to
seriously think about where Latin Catholics consider the
Pope as their immediate head, whereas Malankara and
Malabar churches consider their Major Archbishops as
their head. But all three groups coexist in the overall
umbrella of the Catholic church and submit to Pope as
their Spiritual Father. (Article in Malayalam)

During these days, we are seeing many unprecedented practices in our Church
which, I feel, are against the Scriptures and doctrines of the fathers.

My dream of Peace and Unity in Malankara Church
It is a pathetic situation
in Malankara Orthodox Church that, instead of preaching
gospel and becoming Ambassadors of Christian love and
peace, our church leaders are more interested in court
cases and spreading hatred among others.
The
politicizing of protest
Protest has always been associated with those in the
margins, those who have no one to speak for them and
those who have no one who cares. So much that the word
itself has been an anathema for those in power. The
simple usage of the word brings about a feeling of
enmity and dissociation with what is constructed to be
true and right.
Frictions in Orthodox believers in India
The Orthodox Christians (both factions included) in
India continue in the situation to which it has been
degraded, reduced and ridiculed, with their irrelevant
religious sideshows of factional quarrels and in drastic
need to be reformed.

Church and
Politics
I came to the Orthodox Church with great joy, but now I
do believe that I rejoiced at something which I
projected on to the Orthodox Church of Kerala and its
clergy. It is not their fault, it is mine.
My Reservations on Christmas Caroling

having a 'Lent' prior to Christmas?

The Malankara Church: Orthodox Syrian or Syrian
Orthodox?
As far as I know of, there are two major churches in the United States that
claim to be Malankara Orthodox. One refers to itself as Malankara Syrian
Orthodox Church. The other is the The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Is it possible
that both sides belong to the same church or that both have the right to refer
to themselves as Malankara Orthodox Churches.
The
Role of Women in the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch
by Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka-I Iwas
The Role of Women is a topic of importance today in our
Syriac Orthodox Church which is a deeply rooted
traditional apostolic church.” In our presentation, we
shall depend upon the Holy Scripture and the tradition
of the Church, namely the teachings of the Apostles
which have not been recorded in the Scriptures.
God,
Trinity and Role of Women in Heaven
There is only manhood and son-ship in Heaven, making it
transparently clear that femininity is meant only for
the procreation process that is akin to this earth only.
Anything thus associated with Heaven has no womanhood or
maternity.
Concept
of Trinity and the Role of Women in Church
The revelation of the Holy Trinity, through the Bible and then through the
reflections of our Church fathers has profound implications for our life today.
While the understanding on the Holy Trinity has been one of the most complex
themes that has been dealt with, the studies so far by early Church fathers and
then of late by modern theologians helps us to understand certain aspects of the
Godhead.
Concept of Trinity and the Role of Women in Church -
Follow Up
Going against natural selection is the mode of rupturing the fibre of the
creation and society. But it is set to happen by woman dominating over man as
the Kaliyuga signs which flower 'at the end of days'.

Are we
loosing our Older Generation also along with our Younger
Generation?
I think the main reason for such migration is people's loss of faith
in the foundation of these Churches- mainly 'Apostolic Succession'
and 'Sacraments'. The migrants also point out that they do not need
saints as there need to be no one between themselves and God.
